Young at heart, decrepit in age

Watched Cheaper By The Dozen with the freshman kids. After mulling it over for a bit - mainly because it'd be embarassing to be the oldest person in the group by almost half a decade - I went anyway, mainly because I wanted to see the movie and didn't really want to see it alone if I could help it. During the course of the evening, I did feel self-conscious and out of place at times. But in the end I figured, ah well, there are more things to be bothered by than a vast age gap.
