The Talk 

Still not done with work. Was going to go to campus, but a combination of getting up late and seeing the bloody traffic from outside the window made me give up that idea and get some more work done, before leaving for the Brian McKnight press conference at the Hard Rock. At this point, Dad thought it would be time for another round of The Talk. Goddammit, I hate The Talk.

Made it to the Hard Rock just in time, as Brian came out a few minutes after me and Halief arrived. I gotta say this is probably one of the best (if not the best) press conferences I've been to. The promoters gave the press lots of time to ask questions, Brian turned out to be a cool and funny guy, and then they gave us the opportunity to get his autograph. He went back up to the reception area to wait for his ride, and then went down for another meet and greet, so those who bothered to stick around could get another autograph and have their picture taken. Cool. Much more preferable than the usual shove-o-rama if you get within two metres of the artistes. Score one for the new promoter guys, Lunar Entertainment. Hope the gig goes down really well.

On to the office, mostly while I'm in the area and also out of guilt. I'm over a week late with my stuff, so the least I can do is stay here until I finish it off. Might as well finish the Golf Digest stuff too while I'm at it. More fuel for the eventual next round of The Talk, but whatever.
