Goddamn Session Expiry

Just finished writing recaps of the past three days and hit the submit button...but then the bloody Session Expiry page came out, and all that I had written vanished since I hadn't had the foresight to copy the text. Dammit. Updates'll have to wait to tomorrow then.

Get your hands off my woman, mamamama (?)

Yesterday was the first day of the new semester. After making a big deal out of trying to get to class on time (because the lecturer was supposedly killer), turns out it was just an introduction that took less than 30 minutes. And then it was a case of me looking for something to do. Ended up finally filling in the form for my thesis supervisor. Now all I have to do is call the guy and get his signature. The end has begun...

Went to Aquarius and finally bought The Darkness' Permission To Land. Or to be more specific, the "clean" version, where the naked woman on the cover is blurred (she's facing away from the viewer) and the profanity has been altered in the lyric sheet. Fortunately the swearing in the music itself remains intact, so reading the new words in the lyric sheet just cranks up the silliness. "That dog don't give a duck"? Huhuhuhuhuh...

Catching up...again

Been a few days since the last entry. Been busy. Well actually not really. Been tired, plus the internet has been down for the last two days, so here's a brief recap:

- Saturday: All day at home. Hanief and the family came by at night, and as was expected, he wasted no time in moaning about the bathroom. Elsewhere, Liverpool drew 0-0 with Everton in the Merseyside derby. Good game, too bad they didn't win.

- Sunday: Idul Adha prayers, with Dad giving the sermon he'd been preparing on this computer for the past week or so. For some reason, he felt the need to go at it with fire and brimstone. As if I don't get enough of that at home. After prayers, ended up hiding out and going to sleep in the backroom, because I sure had my fill of people yelling. One's sanity must be kept.

- Monday: At home again. Woke up to find the maids cleaning up my floor. And then Dad felt the need to rub in the cleanliness schtick, saying that Hanief's sensitive to these sort of things, and we should accept it as being his nature. Well, how about accepting me being a slob as part of my friggin' nature?

P.S. To someone I had a recent chat with: you're cute. (There, kept my word, didn't I? ;p)

Oh yeah, go here and see which Weezer song you are. As for me:

what weezer song are you?

Pretty accurate, especially taking into account my current state of mind when it comes to relationships...
